Choose a lawyer from our directory who offers flat-fee reviews, tell us when you're free, and we send them your request. They confirm their fee before you commit.

I understand FairWell is not a law firm, that the lawyer will set and confirm their own fee, and that my request will be shared only with the lawyer I name.

How it works

You pick a lawyer from the directory who accepts flat-fee reviews, and we send them your request.

We ask the lawyer to reply, usually within about two business days, with their fee and a time. We can't guarantee their response time. If it doesn't suit, choose another lawyer from the directory.

You send your FairWell summary or agreement to the lawyer by email. The lawyer prepares or reviews the agreement, advises you, and decides whether to sign a certificate of independent legal advice.

Your partner does the same with a different lawyer. Both certificates attach to the agreement and you sign.
